カランコエ デザートローズは、ボツワナ、レソト、南アフリカ、スワジランド原産の顕花植物の種です。

高さ約1mの茎を生む多肉植物で、開花後に枯れてしまいます。 それは、大きな丸みを帯びた肉質の茎のない葉の基本的なロゼットを形成します。葉は灰色がかった緑色で、縁は赤で、白い粉状の花で覆われています。 花序は終末で直立しており、密錐花序のような緑がかったワックス状の花の円錐花序が密集しており、黄色の反り返った葉があり、狭い壷の形をしています。 植物は秋から春にかけて開花し、岩の間の草むらによく見られます。
